On February 14, 2018, a meeting of the International Headquarters of Operation Illegal 2018 will be held in the CSTO Secretariat with the participation of the Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO.
The International Headquarters of Operation Nelegal consists of authorized representatives of the national headquarters of the Organization’s member states from the internal affairs bodies (police), state (national) security and border services, and financial intelligence units.
During the meeting, the members of the International Headquarters plan to review the results of operational preventive measures and special operations to counteract illegal migration in the CSTO format under the code name “Illegal 2017”, agree on the general plan and the plan to conduct the operation “Nelegal” in the CSTO format in 2018 and its organizational, technical, analytical and informational support, as well as discuss other issues related to the improvement of work on countering illegal migration and the territory of the states - CSTO member states
